Biography

E. Craig Watson is an experienced litigator, dedicated to representing plaintiffs and defendants in the areas of insurance defence, complex personal injury claims, construction litigation, and commercial litigation. He is known for being a determined advocate for his clients.

During his 20+ years of practice in the Lower Mainland, Craig has acted for a diverse spectrum of clients. He has represented injured individuals and defendants in complex and catastrophic personal injury claims, both motor vehicle accidents or occupiers’ liability claims. His experience with errors and omission claims includes directors’ and officers’ claims, negligent design professionals, and negligent lawyers. He has acted for entrepreneurs, helping to resolve shareholder and partner disputes.

Craig joined Stevens Virgin in the summer of 2014, bringing his highly-valued expertise in design and construction law to the firm. During the late 2000s, he served as in-house counsel for SNC-Lavalin, where he was responsible for legal and risk mitigation issues concerning the constructions of the Canada Line. Craig has served his clients as lead counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia.
