Biography

Jason has built a broad practice primarily focussed on defending institutional insurers but he also represents private individuals and small corporations in personal injury and commercial disputes.  Regardless of the type of client or dispute, he consistently works to find the  best outcome for their situation, whether that be through negotiating a settlement, or obtaining a judgment at trial.  He is at his best when his skills, training, and strengths focus on advocating for his clients in the courtroom.

Since his call to the bar, Jason has appeared in the BC Court of Appeal, BC Supreme Court in chambers and as trial counsel, and on all manner of civil hearings in the BC Provincial Court.

Prior to finding his calling in the law, Jason enjoyed a successful career as a restaurateur, studied communications at Capilano University and earned his BA in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia.  He attended the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, concurrently completing an MBA  and his JD in 2016 and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2017.

Jason is a member of the Board of Directors of the Vancouver Bar Association, the Treasurer of the Young Lawyers section of the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, and a member of the Trial Lawyers Association.
